Job summary

Genesis Digital Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, implement and scale an AI-driven SDLC platform in Lisbon. You will own agentic workflows, integrate AI agents with Jira and CI/CD tools, and build robust MCP servers with evaluation frameworks.

You’ll work autonomously on complex challenges, driving adoption of IaC practices and cloud infrastructure, while shaping developer productivity across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents in production.
• Strong knowledge of agent orchestration, MCP, and tool integration.
• Background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with GCP or equivalent cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic development workflows across the SDLC.
• Deploy and integrate AI agents in production, including tool use and context engineering.
• Build MCP servers and agent-to-tool integrations.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and quality checks.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows with Jira, source control, and CI/CD tools.
• Develop and improve internal developer platforms and CLIs.
• Leverage AI coding tools to boost engineering productivity.
• Improve reliability and developer experience of workflows.
• Apply IaC to build scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams on AI-driven automation opportunities.
