Job summary

FC Technology in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to design and scale an AI-powered engineering platform. You will own automations across the SDLC, implement AI agents, and ensure reliable production deployment, monitoring, and governance.

You will lead design and integration of orchestration, tooling, MCP servers, and context engineering, while strengthening CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Fluency in English and strong autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with leadership roles.
• Proven track record deploying AI agents in production environments.
• Strong platform engineering, DevOps and CI/CD expertise.
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript; knowledge of Kotlin/Go/Rust is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agent-based development workflows and tools across the SDLC.
• Develop and integrate AI agents covering orchestration, MCP, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for engineers.
• Connect AI-driven workflows to Jira, version control, and CI platforms.
• Improve engineering efficiency and developer experience through automation.
