Wire IT is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a senior, international team. The role focuses on building and operating AI/ML platforms in production, with emphasis on automation, deployment pipelines and observability.

You will collaborate across Platform, ML, Product Engineering and Data Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. This remote role spans Europe, offering a dynamic, team‑oriented culture and opportunities to grow within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar senior AI/ML role.
• Experience operating ML/AI platforms in production.
• Software engineering with automation and deployment pipelines.
• Cloud-native infrastructure, containers, and distributed systems.
• Strong in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release automation, and production operations.
• Observability across complex distributed apps.
• Model lifecycle management, deployment strategies, experimentation, and production eval.
• Collaboration with Platform, ML, Product, and Data Eng teams.
• Analytical and troubleshooting focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to simplify complexity via automation and reusable platform capabilities.
• Backend development following modern software engineering practices.

Role:SeniorAI Engineering

Location: Remote, Europe

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience operating ML or AI platforms in production.
• Software engineering skills with experience in automation, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, container platforms, and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, release automation, and production operations.
• Strong in implementing observability across complex distributed applications.
• Understanding of model lifecycle management, deployment strategies, experimentation, and production evaluation.
• Track record of collaborating with Platform Engineering, Machine Learning, Product Engineering, and Data Engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to simplify operational complexity through automation and reusable platform capabilities.
• Experience with backend development following modern software engineering practices.
