Job summary

MoOngy Group is seeking a Scrum Master in Portugal to drive agile delivery in a hybrid setup (2/3 days in the office). You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and support the Product Owner with backlog refinement while collaborating with stakeholders across an international IT and engineering environment.

Fluent English (C1) and French (B2) are required, and applicants must be currently living in Portugal with work authorization.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Scrum / Agile environments.
• Solid knowledge of Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective).
• Exposure to SAFe / Agile at Scale concepts.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Jira for backlog and sprint management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective team delivery.
• Support Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile and Scrum practices.
• Identify and remove impediments to delivery.
• Track team progress and Agile metrics (velocity, sprint goals, performance).
• Support Agile adoption and continuous improvement across the team.

The Role: Scrum Master

Work Model: hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

Languages: English (C1) and French (B2)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

• Strong experience in Scrum / Agile environments;
• Solid knowledge of Scrum ceremonies (Planning, Daily Scrum, Review, Retrospective);
• Exposure to SAFe / Agile at Scale concepts;
• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and facilitation;
• Experience with Jira for backlog and sprint management;
• Strong IT collaboration and team facilitation skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SonarQube and MS Office reporting tools;
• Experience with impediment management and stakeholder communication.
