The #wanted profile:
- Fluent in English. French and/or Dutch are strong assets.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification, plus at least one additional solid technical certification from the Architect track (eg. Integration Architect, Data Architect, or Sharing and Visibility Architect).
- A Salesforce Cloud Consultant certification is a plus.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Salesforce development, including a first experience of technical leadership.
- Deep, hands‑on expertise in Apex and Lightning Web Components; Omnistudio experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Curiosity for Salesforce's agentic AI and data ecosystem (Agentforce, Data Cloud) — this is where our work is heading.
- Good understanding of Salesforce licensing models.
- Master best practices and governance around Salesforce projects and scrum/agile methodology.
- Strong knowledge of integration concepts (REST, SOAP, middleware, queuing mechanisms) and security standards.
- Pragmatic problem solver, able to turn architecture guidelines into working code and sound technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both project stakeholders and technical teams.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and guide developers within a project team.
- Proactive mindset, keen to challenge technical choices and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to juggle several technical priorities within a project.
Your responsibilities as a Salesforce Tech Lead:
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions for one or more projects, ensuring scalability, security, and best‑practice standards.
- Anticipate technical risks and propose the best implementation approach within the Salesforce ecosystem for the project at hand.
- Translate business needs into a coherent technical design, escalating strategic or cross‑client topics to Technical Architects.
- Act as the first point of escalation for technical decisions within the project team.
- Engage with functional consultants, Business Analysts, and project stakeholders to present and defend technical choices.
- Guarantee code quality and architectural coherence across the project through code reviews and reusable frameworks.
- Mentor and coach developers to help them adopt Salesforce best practices.
- Drive integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems (middleware, APIs, legacy tools).
- Produce and maintain project‑level technical documentation and diagrams.
- Own the project's DevOps and deployment practices (branching strategy, CI/CD pipelines, release quality) as part of guaranteeing code quality.
- Promote continuous improvement and the adoption of emerging Salesforce practices within the team.
- Protect and guide the development team by setting clear technical guidelines within the project.
