Accenture Portugal is looking for a Lead Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions in Lisbon. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development, with strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce. The successful candidate will lead technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and work collaboratively in international teams. A degree in Computer Science or a related field and strong English skills are also essential.

Lead Salesforce Developer
Portfolio: Portugal, 2 days per week in the Lisbon office, & fluent English. The role focuses on end‑to‑end design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and integrations, translating business requirements into scalable, best‑practice solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and integrations.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with Salesforce best practices.
• Develop high‑quality code using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
• Define and execute unit tests, analyze defects, and ensure high code quality and platform performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders in international project teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other Salesforce developers.

Detailed Responsibilities & Technical Scope

• Own technical design decisions for Salesforce implementations, including data models, integrations, security, and automation.
• Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and external systems.
• Ensure proper use of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
• Customize UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure cross‑browser compatibility and optimal user experience.
• Review technical documentation, functional specifications, and test cases.
• Support release management activities and post‑deployment troubleshooting.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or similar.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
