Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a remote SaaS environment based in Portugal. You will troubleshoot complex issues across databases, applications, and infrastructure, using SQL to investigate production problems and support root-cause analysis.

You will communicate with enterprise clients, collaborate with engineering teams, and monitor production environments to maintain performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in technical support within a SaaS or software environment.
• Proven ability to write SQL queries, investigate production data, troubleshoot database issues, and work with live systems.
• Experience supporting web-based applications in production environments with emphasis on availability and reliability.
• Ability to investigate issues across databases, applications, and networks using a structured approach.
• Comfort accessing and troubleshooting remote environments using RDP and similar tools.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• A self-starter who takes ownership and proactively improves processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues across database, application, and infrastructure layers in a live SaaS environment.
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate system behavior and root causes.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and monitor production environments for stability.
• Communicate findings to technical client stakeholders and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve advanced issues.
• Monitor and maintain production environments using diagnostic and logging tools.
• Improve internal processes and documentation for better support workflows.
• Work across a broad technology stack including Azure, SQL Server, .NET, Angular, and integrations.
