We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Almada.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant including opening and closing procedures.
• Hire, train and manage restaurant staff.
• Create schedules for staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide feedback and address any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items or specials based on customer preferences.
• Monitor sales performance and make adjustments as needed to meet revenue targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations including food safety regulations, inventory management, and customer service standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization and attention to detail.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to handle complaints or difficult situations professionally.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Salary

1500$ per month, negotiable based on experience.
