Job summary

ASSOCIAÇÃO BIOPOLIS invites applications for a Research Technician on a fixed-term contract of up to 12 months to support the BEAGLE project on biodiversity methods for monitoring. Applicants must hold a master's degree in biology or environmental sciences, have lab experience, and be able to work with interdisciplinary teams in marine biodiversity and taxonomy; English proficiency required.

The role requires flexibility, weekend/holiday field campaigns when needed, and a driving licence;

Offer Description

One vacancy is open for a Research Technician, under an uncertain-term employment contract, for the period necessary to carry out the activities, with an expected duration of 12 months, under the Labour Code. This notice is intended for one (1) position (Reference BIOPOLIS 2026-53) within the scope of the BEAGLE project – Biodiversity methods for advanced monitoring at large scales, funded through the HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-BIODIV-04 programme (code 101288886).

Admission requirements: Applications may be submitted by any national, foreign or stateless candidate holding a master's degree in the field of biology or environmental sciences.

Candidates holding academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions must present proof of recognition, equivalence or registration of the degree, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 66/2018 of 16 August, by the date of signing the employment contract.
