Job summary

MORE – Mountains of Research Collaborative Laboratory – Association in Bragança, Portugal, seeks an Innovation Technician to plan and drive internal and external communication activities. You will promote technology transfer initiatives and build networks with industry, academia and public bodies.

The role covers press relations, copywriting, social media, and graphic/digital content production, together with image/video capture and editing. Fixed-term 12-month contract, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences or related field (Level 7).
• Experience in marketing and innovation communication.
• Experience in event organisation.
• Experience in research and innovation projects; funding applications.

MORE – Mountains of Research Collaborative Laboratory – Association is seeking to recruit 1 Innovation Technician within the scope of the project BioLivingLABS – Bioeconomia ao serviço da sustentabilidade dos territórios do interior (Project No. 17807, Code COMPETE2030-FEDER-01458900), approved under Call COMPETE2030-2024-6 – SIAC – Transfer of Scientific and Technological Knowledge.

The Innovation Technician will be responsible for planning and implementing the organisation's internal and external communication activities, promoting and carrying out technology and knowledge transfer initiatives, and developing communication networks and activities.

The role will also involve press relations, content creation, copywriting, social media and back-office management, graphic and digital content production, as well as activities related to image and video capture and editing.

Skills/Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences or related fields (Level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework).

Knowledge and professional experience:

• Specific knowledge of marketing and innovation communication targeting the business sector and R&D&I institutions;
• Experience in event organisation;
• Experience in research and innovation (R&I) projects funded through different programmes, including PRIMA, Horizon Europe, Portugal 2030 and Erasmus+;
• Experience in preparing applications for national and international funding programmes;
• Experience in preparing proposals and implementing R&I activities for companies and municipalities;
• Experience in project management and technology and knowledge transfer activities.

Additional knowledge and skills considered an asset:

• Experience in promoting and implementing technology and knowledge transfer activities within funded projects;
• Skills in creating graphic and digital content;
• Knowledge of image and video capture and editing.

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences or related fields (Level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework);
• Specific knowledge of marketing and innovation communication targeting the business sector and R&D&I institutions;

Additional Information

• Fixed-term employment contract for 12 months;
• Gross monthly salary of €1,443.00;

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Communication Sciences or related fields (Level 7 of the National Qualifications Framework).

Applicants are required to provide an academic qualification certificate confirming the completion of their Master's degree. Academic degrees awarded by foreign higher education institutions must be officially recognised in Portugal.
