Zusammenfassung

Tyk Cloud is our managed API management platform, running on multi-region Kubernetes at scale for customers worldwide. We're seeking an SRE who is comfortable in code as well as infrastructure; you’ll improve and automate the platform and handle incidents on call, joining a small, centralized SRE team that collaborates with product teams.

You don't need to have done everything below. We give three to four months to shadow and learn before going on call, with a supportive, flexible remote

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in SRE, platform, or infra roles across multiple companies.
• Experience owning on-call and leading incidents.
• Hands-on production Kubernetes at scale (preferably EKS).
• Experience designing infra on AWS with Terraform.
• Ability to write, test, ship Go tooling/services.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and logging systems.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.

Aufgaben

• Deliver quarterly planned work to optimise the platform and tooling.
• Expand Tyk Cloud across regions and clouds; reduce running costs.
• Automate operations in Go and maintain Kubernetes operators.
• Run services and databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, and alerts.
• Maintain runbooks and documentation; support security work like SOC 2.
