Job summary

KCS IT is seeking an Amazing Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our distributed teams while working remotely from Portugal. The ideal candidate will design, implement and improve observability pipelines, ensuring system reliability and performance across multiple clients and projects.

You should have 3+ years as an SRE or similar role, strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform and ArgoCD, and hands-on knowledge of OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master in Computer Science, Data science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• 3+ years as an SRE, Observability Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar instrumentation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, ArgoCD.
• Experience designing and managing telemetry pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Product-oriented mindset with a passion for automation.
• Good level of English.
• Remote position from Portugal.
