AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Kubernetes) to operate and enhance a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will focus on automation, tooling, and incident management to ensure reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes in production, Linux fundamentals, and cloud experience (Azure/AWS). Flexible work options include remote and office time, with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production (ideally with Service Mesh).
• Experience with Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a plus.
• CI/CD and infrastructure as code tools (Helm/Terraform) are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks and docs.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand.
