Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a meticulous Project Cost Administrator to manage remote project cost data for an international team. You will handle dockets, cost codes, timesheets, and supplier records, ensuring 99%+ coding accuracy and timely data updates.

The role emphasizes strong organization, proactive follow-up, and independent work with minimal supervision. Prior Australian project exposure is advantageous and the position is fully remote.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project administration, cost administration, or related fields.
• Experience processing project costs, delivery dockets, purchase orders, and timesheets.
• Strong understanding of project and cost coding principles.
• Excellent data-entry and record-management skills with high accuracy.
• Ability to identify duplicates, discrepancies, and missing information and resolve them.
• Strong follow-up and communication when coordinating with suppliers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier delivery dockets accurately within the required 24–48 hour timeframe.
• Match dockets and documentation against purchase orders to ensure complete records.
• Apply correct project and cost codes, maintaining high coding accuracy.
• Enter and maintain project cost information in Workbench.
• Process timesheets, labor records, and plant records for projects.
• Identify data-quality issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain an outstanding docket register and follow up on unresolved items.
• Coordinate with site teams and suppliers to obtain missing records.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and accessible to stakeholders.
• Provide accurate cost information to Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors.
