Job summary

F6S is seeking a hands-on IT Operations Manager to run IT in our remote-first company. You’ll lead a small team to manage IT processes, policies, assets, security, compliance and vendor relationships—while staying hands-on on endpoint management and identity.

You’ll write, maintain and enforce the specifications and documentation IT runs on, and drive the technical uplift of our environment with MSP support for tasks beyond your team’s capacity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT Operations with team leadership and vendor management.
• Experience in remote-first organizations with limited on-prem infrastructure.
• Experience writing and enforcing IT specifications and runbooks.
• Hands-on with endpoint management and identity (Intune, Google Workspace).
• Experience implementing zero-trust security.
• Ability to manage MSP relationships and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects across software rollouts, endpoint hardening, and policy updates with the MSP and stakeholders.
• Ensure onboarding/offboarding, license allocation and support queries are handled.
• Configure and maintain endpoint and identity with Microsoft Intune and Google Workspace Admin.
• Write, maintain and enforce IT specifications, runbooks and processes.
• Manage MSP relationship to meet SLAs and project outcomes.
• Maintain inventory of hardware/software and ensure device health.
• Drive IT policy adherence and improve security posture and employee experience.
