Emotion Mobility is seeking an IT Operations & Security Lead in Lisbon to ensure availability, performance and security of our global IT environment. You’ll coordinate security, risk and compliance activities and report to the Engineering Director.

You’ll lead IT Operations, Infrastructure, Information Security and Cybersecurity, define strategic roadmaps, monitor KPIs and manage budgets, while enhancing DevOps and automation across Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure, with leadership experience.
• Strong experience managing IT infrastructure and cloud environments, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Solid understanding of information security and cybersecurity principles, controls and best practices.
• Good knowledge of recognized security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework or CIS Controls.
• Experience with IT risk management, security incident management and vulnerability management.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, automation and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IT Operations, Infrastructure, Information Security and Cybersecurity functions.
• Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess IT performance, security and service effectiveness.
• Manage IT budgets, resources, suppliers and technology-related priorities.
• Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure and Microsoft ecosystem, including on-site infrastructure, virtualization, Microsoft 365, Teams and Azure cloud environments.
• Ensure the availability, performance, resilience and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Promote DevOps and automation practices in collaboration with Engineering and other technical teams.
• Support the integration of security practices into development and operational processes.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve information security policies, procedures and standards, aligned with ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls.
• Coordinate compliance activities related to security and data protection, including ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Maintain and improve IT risk management framework; identify and mitigate tech and security risks.
• Coordinate security assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security audits.
• Lead management of information security and cybersecurity incidents; ensure investigation, response, escalation and reporting.
• Foster collaboration, security awareness, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Your Mission

As an IT Operations & Security Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance and security of the organization’s IT environment, while coordinating security, risk and compliance activities. The successful candidate should bring strong experience in IT operations and infrastructure, combined with solid knowledge of information security and cybersecurity practices. You will report to the Engineering Director.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the IT Operations, Infrastructure, Information Security and Cybersecurity functions;
• Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives;
• Define and monitor relevant KPIs to assess IT performance, security and service effectiveness;
• Manage IT budgets, resources, suppliers and technology-related priorities;

• Maintain and continuously improve the IT risk management framework, ensuring that technology and security risks are identified, assessed and appropriately mitigated;
• Coordinate security assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and security audits, working with internal teams and external specialists where appropriate;
• Lead the management of information security and cybersecurity incidents, ensuring appropriate investigation, response, escalation and reporting;
• Foster a culture of collaboration, security awareness, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory

• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT operations and infrastructure, with exposure to cloud and information security environments, including experience in team or function leadership;
• Strong experience managing IT infrastructure and cloud environments, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure;
• Solid understanding of information security and cybersecurity principles, controls and best practices;
• Good knowledge of recognized security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework or CIS Controls;
• Experience with IT risk management, security incident management and vulnerability management;
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, automation and CI/CD practices;
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills;
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog;
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 certification or audit processes;
• Knowledge of secure development practices and security monitoring;
• Relevant IT, cloud or information security certifications are considered a plus (e.g., ITIL, Azure, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, SSCP or others).
