Job summary

Brix IT is seeking an IT Monitoring Specialist to safeguard critical environments, identify alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate as needed. You’ll collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, support and project delivery teams to maintain service quality.

Strong attention to detail, procedural discipline, and experience with Nagios, ITSM, Linux/Windows environments, and multi-language communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in system, infrastructure or application monitoring roles.
• Knowledge of Nagios and ITSM ticketing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT systems, networks, servers and applications using monitoring tools such as Nagios.
• Detect, analyse and respond to alerts and incidents in real time.
• Perform initial troubleshooting to support root cause identification.
• Escalate critical incidents to the appropriate technical teams according to procedures and severity levels.
• Register incidents, interventions and resolutions in ITSM or ticketing tools.
• Produce regular reports on incidents, system health and performance trends.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, support and delivery teams to maintain service quality.
