Job summary

At Nimber, we’re seeking an IT Monitoring Tools Administrator to join a challenging project in the banking sector, focused on reliability, performance and availability of critical IT infrastructure. You’ll work with Zabbix and other monitoring technologies, combining systems administration, infrastructure management and DevOps practices to keep complex IT environments running smoothly.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with Zabbix.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana, ELK Stack, AppDynamics or New Relic.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• DevOps mindset with familiarity with CI/CD and tools such as Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, incident management and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with technical teams.
• Proactive, autonomous and adaptable approach to learning and solving technical challenges.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain IT monitoring tools and platforms.
• Manage and optimise monitoring configurations, alerts and dashboards.
• Support infrastructure management activities and contribute to platform reliability.
• Implement and improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues and take preventive action.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting infrastructure, applications and monitoring services.
• Provide technical support to infrastructure teams, application teams and end users.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve monitoring capabilities and efficiency.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll work with Zabbix and other monitoring technologies, combining systems administration, infrastructure management and DevOps practices to keep complex IT environments running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Administer, configure and maintain IT monitoring tools and platforms, ensuring effective infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Manage and optimise monitoring configurations, alerts and dashboards.
• Support infrastructure management activities and contribute to platform reliability.
• Implement and improve CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues and take preventive action.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents affecting infrastructure, applications and monitoring services.
• Provide technical support to infrastructure teams, application teams and end users.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve monitoring capabilities and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience with Zabbix, or strong professional experience administering monitoring services.
• Hands-on experience with other monitoring technologies, such as Grafana, ELK Stack, AppDynamics or New Relic.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• A solid DevOps mindset, with familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins.
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, incident management and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• A proactive, autonomous and adaptable approach to learning and solving technical challenges.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice to Have

• Zabbix certification.
• Experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies, such as OpenShift, Kubernetes or Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, Azure or private cloud environments.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems.
• Previous experience in banking or other business-critical IT environments.
• French language skills.
