Job summary

Next Engineering is seeking a senior engineer to operate and scale ML/AI platforms in production. You will own automation, deployment pipelines and observability across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with Platform, ML, Product and Data teams, driving reliability and continuous improvement while enabling scalable model lifecycle management and deployment strategies. Remote work options may be available.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating ML/AI platforms in production.
• Software engineering with automation and deployment pipelines.
• Cloud-native infrastructure, container platforms and distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, release automation and production operations.
• Strong observability across complex distributed applications.
• Understanding of model lifecycle management, deployment strategies, experimentation and production evaluation.
• Collaborating with Platform, ML, Product and Data Engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to simplify operational complexity through automation and reusable platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize deployment pipelines and automation tooling.
