Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve, a new five-star hotel overlooking Vale de Centeanes Beach in Carvoeiro, Lagoa, Portugal, seeks a Receptionist (M/F) to join its team.

You will welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, manage reservations, and provide local information with a personalised approach to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Front Office role is preferred.
• Fluency in English, additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and guest-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

We are looking for a hospitality professional with a genuine passion for guest service, a professional approach and a strong commitment to creating personalised and memorable experiences from the very first interaction.

• Welcome and assist guests with warmth, discretion and professionalism;
• Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures;
• Manage reservations, guest requests and enquiries;

Your Profile

• Previous experience in a Front Office role, preferably within a four- or five-star hotel;
• Qualifications in Hospitality Management, Tourism or a related field are considered an advantage;
• Fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Professional appearance, polished manner and a guest-focused approach;
• Strong organisational skills, sense of responsibility and attention to detail;
• Team spirit and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment;
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
