Job summary

ALEBS is seeking a finance professional to manage the General Ledger, month-end close, and asset accounting in a multinational services environment. You will ensure accurate journal postings, reconciliations, and IFRS/GAAP compliance while driving high-quality reporting.

Requirements include a degree in Accounting or related field, 4+ years in similar roles, and strong English skills; additional languages are valued. The position is based in Santarém, Portugal, with a collaborative, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• More than 4 years in a similar function.
• Experience in a multinational company is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performance General Ledger Account: ensure journal entries posted and reports prepared.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and sub-ledger to ledger reconciliations.
• Asset accounting: manage assets under construction and fixed asset transactions.
• Reporting: prepare and verify IRIS reporting and consolidated packages, support audit deadlines.
