ALEBS Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS), Unipessoal Lda. in Portugal is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join its multinational service center.

You will handle R2R processes, journal postings, and statutory reporting within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance and has 4+ years in a similar role, with English proficiency and openness to additional languages.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting / Financial / Management / Economy.
• More than 4 years in similar function.
• Experience in Business Services Center is a plus.
• Experience in a multinational company is desirable.
• Intermediate in English (written and spoken).
• Extra languages are valued (e.g. Arabic; Spanish; French; Italian; German; Swedish).

Responsabilidades

• Ensure cost-effective operation in the R2R activities and drive a high performance and engaged team to deliver quality service.
• Post journals and validate legal reports (VAT, Statistics, Central bank, Intrastat); support year-end activities and period closing.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and sub-ledger to ledger reconciliations; follow up unjustified entries.
• Record fixed assets transactions; ensure local GAAP and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and verify IRIS reporting and consolidation packages; support audit deadlines.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Ensure the cost‑effective operation in the R2R activities by driving and promote a high performance and engaged team, in order to deliver the best quality service
• Performance General Ledger Account: Ensure that all journal entries are posted, Execute and/or validate legal requirements reports (e.g. VAT, Statistics, Central bank, Intrastat), Support Finance Business Partner with year end activities, Open and close accounting periods according to the closing calendar, Perform and/or validate month closing activities according to schedule defined
• Performs Accounts analysis: Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Perform Sub‑ledger to Ledger reconciliations, Analyze and follow up unjustified entries
• Performs the asset accounting: Follow up investment orders/assets under construction in a monthly basis with the Operations Controller and/or Plant Managers, Record all fixed assets transactions ensuring both local GAAP and IFRS principles
• Reporting: Prepair, upload and/or verify IRIS reporting and consolidated packages, Publish reporting packages, Verify and justify the gaps IRIS and ERP, if needed, Support consolidation team queries, Assure audit activities are correctly executed within defined deadlines
