Siemens Energy in Portugal seeks a seasoned accounting leader to head a team of experts, ensuring timely, IFRS and local GAAP-compliant month-end close while driving process improvements. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders and guide the team through complex operational issues, sharing best practices across functions.

Role includes leading SAP-FI, S/4 Hana workflows, Blackline reconciliations, and driving finance transformation initiatives to standardize and automate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fixed Assets and General Ledger.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Team Leadership.
• +5 years in SAP-FI.
• Open and fluent communication in Portuguese and English.

Get ready to play a key role working with S/4 Hana, where you'll oversee month-end activities in Smart close (Blackline), handle Fixed Assets tasks, perform account reconciliations with Blackline, and keep our General Ledger accounts in top shape!

Take the lead on exciting continuous improvement initiatives, champion finance transformation projects, and help standardize and automate processes across the organization.

Oversee internal controls and play a crucial part in internal and external audits by delivering timely information and resolving auditor queries.

Drive the implementation and documentation of new processes and procedures, making a real difference as we move forward!

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Fixed Assets, General Ledger.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Team Leadership

+5 years in SAP-FI

You are open and communicative in Portuguese as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
