Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa in Ovar, Portugal is seeking a Quality Complaint Specialist to receive customer concerns, coordinate with production and drive corrective actions. You will report 3D & 8D analyses and monitor GQRS to ensure timely and effective responses.

The role requires High School Technical education, fluent English, and knowledge of IATF16964 and VDA quality systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to reduce claims and improve quality, while supporting regional

Qualifications

• High School Technical education required.
• Fluent in English (written, spoken, and conversation).
• Knowledge of IATF16964 and related core tools.
• Knowledge of VDA quality system.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer concerns and address to the production affiliate.
• Establish action plan and follow up.
• Report 3D & 8D to the customer.
• Coordinate and instruct sorting activities, cost follow up.
• Monitor claims in GQRS.
• Ensure effective 8D reports with action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Investigate corrective actions for failed parts.
• Ensure customer claim and PPM information is reported accurately and on time.
• Work to meet Yazaki's internal and customer quality targets.
• Reduce customer claims and PPM.
• Review and monitor customer scorecards, quality and responsiveness status.
• Escalate major issues to Management.
• Provide information to other Yazaki Operations Quality Divisions when requested.
• Support European and Global quality initiatives including GQRS and quality reporting.
• Participate in supplier quality development activities and training.
