Preh Group in Trofa, Portugal, is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist/Engineer to ensure the quality performance of the supplier base and the compliance of purchased materials across the supply chain. You will coordinate supplier quality activities, manage supplier claims with the 8D methodology, and support supplier development initiatives in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualificações

• Technical degree in a related field (Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial).
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and automotive core tools (MSA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, 8D).
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AEC-Q and other automotive quality requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Perform incoming inspections of purchased materials and components.
• Coordinate supplier sampling activities, approvals, and timing plans (IR, ISIR, PPAP, PPF).
• Manage supplier claims using the 8D methodology, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Follow up on action plans, monitor deadlines, and support escalations as needed.
• Participate in supplier assessments and audits, including POT analyses and VDA evaluations.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
