HumanIT Digital Consulting is hiring a QA Engineer for Mobile Testing (iOS/Android) in a hybrid Lisbon setup. The role focuses on ensuring quality of mobile ticketing and mobility solutions across Europe, supporting release validation and automation initiatives.

You will design test cases for mobile, web and backend systems, perform manual testing across platforms, and document defects with clear reports, while collaborating with product and development teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manual software testing experience.

QA Engineer (Mobile Testing – iOS/Android) - Hybrid Lisbon

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a European mobility tech company that is driving the digital transformation of public transport. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of mobile ticketing and mobility solutions used every day by millions of passengers and by leading transport operators across Europe. You will test mobile apps and backend systems, catch defects early and work closely with product, project and development teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly products. This is a mid-level role (approx. 2–5 years of experience) in the Engineering department, reporting to the Team Lead Frontend Development, with a real chance to help expand test automation and shape the future of QA within the company.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

• Design, create, execute and maintain test cases for mobile, web and backend systems
• Manual testing of native and hybrid applications on iOS and Android devices

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• 2+ years of experience in manual software testing
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira or Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience creating and executing structured test cases and test plans
• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs and client-server architectures
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and structured way of working
• Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
• Languages: Good written and spoken English

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Basic experience with test automation tools (Appium, Playwright, Selenium or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Experience with mobile commerce, ticketing, payment or mobility solutions
• Understanding of public transport, mobility services or digital sales platforms

Compensation: €1000 – €1500/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
