Qualifications

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Mobile QA Engineer to join a digital transformation project in the public sector. You will define and execute testing strategies for mobile applications, ensuring high standards of quality, accessibility, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, plans, cases, and entry/exit criteria, analyzing requirements, risks, dependencies, and impacts.
• Execute manual tests, define automation approaches, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Validate accessibility, compatibility, usability, and performance across mobile applications.
• Test integrations between mobile applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Analyze App Store and Google Play feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate testing activities in Agile environments, collaborating with Development, Product, UX/UI, and Business teams to improve QA practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in QA and software testing, with proven mobile application testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, the testing lifecycle, test strategies, risk analysis, and defect management.
• Thorough understanding of functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with tools such as Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest, alongside physical devices and mobile emulators/simulators.
• Knowledge of Mobile UI/UX, Android/iOS guidelines, and accessibility, compatibility, and usability testing.
• Experience with Google Play Console, TestFlight, application distribution, Firebase App Distribution, performance monitoring, and crash analytics tools.
• Experience testing APIs and microservices, working in Agile/Scrum, and using tools such as Jira, RTM, GitLab, and Figma.
• Preferred: Mobile automation strategies, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Applitools, CI/CD, ISTQB Foundation certification or higher, high-usage consumer products, usage metrics, and digital transformation projects.
