iTRTech Group in Lisbon is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a hybrid role based in Parque das Nações. You will analyse requirements, design test scenarios, and validate complex systems across APIs, databases and business processes.

Collaboration with development, BA and product teams is essential. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Functional Testing experience, strong defect management, and hands-on use of ALM Octane, Jira and Confluence.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Functional Testing.
• Experience managing and executing tests in Agile environments.
• Strong functional analysis and defect management skills.
• Solid knowledge of integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Micro Focus ALM Octane, Jira and Confluence.
• Database testing experience using Oracle SQL Developer, PgAdmin and PostgreSQL.
• API testing experience with Swagger and Postman.
• Experience interpreting functional prototypes in Figma.
• Fluent Portuguese and English at B2 level or above.
• Availability to work onsite in Parque das Nações three days per week.

Location: Parque das Nações, Lisbon, Portugal

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

Work Model: Hybrid — three days onsite per week

Language Requirements: Fluent Portuguese and English B2+

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a dynamic team working on high-impact digital transformation projects.

You will analyse requirements, define test scenarios and validate complex systems while collaborating with Development, Business Analysis and Product teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least five years of experience in Functional Testing.
• Experience managing and executing tests in Agile environments.
• Strong functional analysis and defect management skills.
• Solid knowledge of integration and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Micro Focus ALM Octane, Jira and Confluence.
• Database testing experience using Oracle SQL Developer, PgAdmin and PostgreSQL.
• API testing experience with Swagger and Postman.
• Experience interpreting functional prototypes in Figma.
• Fluent Portuguese and English at B2 level or above.
• Availability to work onsite in Parque das Nações three days per week.

Experience with IBM Cloud, OpenCode, banking, insurance or other critical systems will be valued. ISTQB certification is also an advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are an autonomous Senior Functional Tester with strong analytical skills and experience validating APIs, databases, integrations and complex business processes. You communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and are comfortable working in an Agile banking environment.
