⚡ We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our development teams in Lisbon and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, high‑value, and reliable systems. As part of our QA team, you will work closely with developers, team leads, and product stakeholders to ensure our platforms run flawlessly and meet the highest standards of quality.
Ensure that every release delivers the best possible experience for our users by testing thoroughly, catching issues early, and collaborating closely with the engineering teams. You will be a key player in building confidence in our platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Define test scope, create test plans, and write clear and detailed test cases.
- Log, track, and verify defects in bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
- Collaborate with developers and team leads to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date test documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards within the team.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in QA testing web and/or mobile.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, testing processes, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in testing web‑based applications and delivering quality across projects.
- Strong ability to define test scope, create test strategies, and execute detailed test plans.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining test documentation—test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
- Confident with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools—you know how to describe a bug so no one can miss it.
- Working knowledge of API testing, REST, JSON, and SQL for data validation.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- Comfortable working in Agile and Scrum teams—communicative, team‑oriented, and self‑driven.
- English B2 plus or Advanced, able to discuss, defend, and even joke about quality with teammates worldwide.
- Experience with test automation tools, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
- Familiarity with Git, CI, and CD pipelines, and cloud‑based environments.
- Exposure to mobile testing iOS and Android, microservices, or performance testing.
- Passion for metrics‑driven quality, continuous improvement, and raising the QA bar higher every sprint.
