Job summary

Axians Portugal is seeking a Product Owner to join an international software product development team. You will bridge business stakeholders and engineering, own the product backlog, coordinate delivery activities, and translate business requirements into outcomes within an agile environment.

Daily duties include coordinating with stakeholders, refining the backlog, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, guiding sprint planning, and reporting delivery progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Product Owner or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and product delivery.
• Experience managing backlogs and requirements.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in international environments.
• Professional English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel to Germany when required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Product Owner to join an international software product development team supporting the delivery of digital products. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, owning the product backlog, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring that business requirements are transformed into successful product outcomes. The role combines Product Ownership, Delivery Coordination, and Business Analysis responsibilities within an agile environment.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Act as the primary coordination point between stakeholders and the delivery team;
