Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Manager for Payments Infrastructure in Portugal. You will shape core systems enabling secure, reliable money movement across markets, owning the technical roadmap for processing, settlement, ledger, virtual accounts, and banking integrations.

Collaborate with Engineering, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure timely processing, optimize liquidity and cross-border settlement, and define routing strategies including stablecoins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or related field.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with payment infrastructure, rails, ledger systems, or core banking/transaction platforms.
• Strong technical fluency for architecture discussions (APIs, distributed systems, data consistency).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across markets/time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the technical roadmap for core payment infrastructure, including rails, ledgers, settlement engines, currency conversion, and virtual accounts.
• Lead development of virtual accounts and Virtual IBAN infrastructure for customer-facing payment experiences.
• Collaborate with the Payment Experience PM to align infra capabilities with customer needs.
• Oversee integrations with banking partners, liquidity providers, and stablecoin networks.
• Own processing, settlement, and reconciliation across currencies and networks.
• Define routing and currency-conversion strategies including USDC/USDT/PYUSD.
• Partner with Engineering on APIs, distributed systems, data consistency, idempotency, error handling.
