Lever, Inc. in Portugal seeks a Product Manager - Money Movement to own money movement surface across rails, settlements, liquidity, and treasury, driving end-to-end product experiences.

You will work with Finance/FinOps, Banking partners, and infrastructure to replace manual processes with scalable systems, balancing customer experience with operating complexity. Experience shipping payment rails and managing PSPs is essential; crypto/Stablecoin exposure is a plus.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Own the money movement product surface across on-ramps, off-ramps, pay-ins, payouts, and the underlying payment infrastructure.
• Build scalable infrastructure for fund movement, settlement, reconciliation, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
• Establish and define payments operating models covering settlement cycles, reconciliation cadence, transaction processing, exception handling, and operational workflows.
• Partner with Finance and FinOps to build robust processes and systems rather than manual reconciliation.
• Collaborate with shared payments infrastructure to align rail and API architecture.
• Evaluate and adapt payment solutions across corridors, standardize where possible.
• Manage relationships with partner banks and PSPs, including requirements.
• Analyze corridor economics to inform product and pricing decisions.
• Apply AI-native product development practices to accelerate execution and reduce manual work.
• Work with retail product and infrastructure teams to align priorities and delivery.
• Own end-to-end performance and evolution of money movement capabilities.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager - Money Movement based in Portugal.

This role offers end-to-end ownership of the systems and experiences that enable money to move reliably across a growing financial platform. You will oversee payment rails including on-ramps, off-ramps, pay-ins, and payouts, alongside the infrastructure supporting settlement, reconciliation, liquidity, and treasury. The position combines customer-facing product development with hands-on payments operations and financial infrastructure. You will help replace manual processes and spreadsheet-driven workflows with scalable systems and clearly defined operating models. Working closely with Finance, FinOps, infrastructure, and banking partners, you will shape solutions that can scale across emerging-market corridors. The role is suited to a product leader who can balance customer experience, operational complexity, unit economics, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Accountabilities

• Own the money movement product surface across on-ramps, off-ramps, pay-ins, payouts, and the underlying payment infrastructure.
• Build scalable infrastructure for fund movement, settlement, reconciliation, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
• Establish and define payments operating models covering settlement cycles, reconciliation cadence, transaction processing, exception handling, and operational workflows.
• Partner closely with Finance and FinOps to build robust processes and systems rather than relying on manual reconciliation and undocumented knowledge.
• Collaborate with the shared payments infrastructure team to ensure rail and infrastructure decisions contribute to a common money-movement and API architecture.
• Evaluate and adapt payment solutions across emerging-market jurisdictions, identifying which capabilities can be standardized and which require corridor-specific implementation.
• Manage relationships with partner banks and payment service providers, including operational and product requirements.
• Analyze corridor economics, including deposit fees, FX spreads, transaction fees, and adoption incentives, to inform product and pricing decisions.
• Apply AI-native product development practices to accelerate execution, improve workflows, and reduce manual operational work.
• Work closely with retail product and infrastructure teams to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery across the broader platform.
• Own the end-to-end performance and evolution of money movement capabilities, from customer-facing flows through settlement and reconciliation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience for Senior-level consideration, or 7+ years for Lead-level consideration.
• Proven experience shipping payment rails in emerging-market or high-growth fintech environments.
• Hands-on experience with payment methods such as on-ramps, off-ramps, ACH, SWIFT, wire transfers, or card acquiring.
• Experience managing payment products across multiple PSPs or banking partners simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of settlement, reconciliation, treasury, liquidity, transaction processing, and payment operations.
• Comfortable combining customer-facing product ownership with operational and financial infrastructure responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze corridor unit economics, including deposit fees, FX spreads, transaction fees, and the trade-offs involved in subsidizing adoption.
• Direct experience negotiating or managing relationships with partner banks or PSPs.
• Strong understanding of emerging-market banking environments, including jurisdiction-specific restrictions, pricing structures, and regulatory constraints.
• Ability to distinguish scalable shared infrastructure from capabilities that need to be adapted or rebuilt for individual payment corridors.
• Experience with stablecoin or crypto payment rails, multi-currency treasury, or emerging-market banking is a strong advantage.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in an AI-enabled, high-ownership environment where speed, experimentation, and operational discipline are valued.
