Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a Procurement Sustainability Specialist to drive end-to-end sustainability topics for a specific commodity or supplier portfolio in Coimbra. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to promote corrective actions and ensure alignment with Airbus sustainability criteria.

The role requires a university degree, deep knowledge of sustainability principles, advanced procurement systems skills, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualificações

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of sustainability principles and their application to procurement and supply chain.
• Advanced proficiency in procurement systems and ESG criteria.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to use Google Workspace.
• Ability to propose improvements and implement them.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on standard issues.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Proactive learner applying theory to practical work.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and drive change through communication.
• Fluency in English for negotiations and meetings.
• Able to work in dynamic multicultural environment with complex tools/data.

Responsibilities - your mission

• Manage the end-to-end sustainability topics for a specific commodity/entity or supplier portfolio with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify and suggest enhancements to existing S2P (Source-to-Pay) sustainability practices and tools.
• Coordinate directly with internal and external stakeholders to drive corrective action plans and ensure adherence to Airbus sustainability criteria.
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders in order to have sustainability requirements integrated into standard procurement processes and supplier selection criteria.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues on technical tools and established procurement practices.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

• University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Science or an equivalent combination of education and /or experience.
• Deep understanding of sustainability principles (e.G., Carbon Footprint, Environmental compliance, Scope 3 emissions), their application in a corporate environment and how these intersect with procurement and supply chain operations.
• Advanced proficiency in procurement systems and sustainability ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria and ways of working.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and to use autonomously and proactively the Google Workspace.
• Ability to proactively propose improvement to existent processes and implement them.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently within established practices and make decisions on standard operational issues.
• Strong organizational skills and a rigorous approach to managing multiple tasks with high accuracy.
• Proactive learner capable of applying theoretical knowledge to practical, structured work assignments.
• Ability to manage different stakeholders and facilitate organizational change through clear and persuasive communication.
• Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiations and team meetings.
• Able to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different and complex tools and flows of topics/data.
