Job summary

Randstad Digital Portugal is seeking a Junior Operations Analyst to support daily banking operations, risk controls, and data reconciliation. The role offers exposure to Loan Administration, collateral services, and middle office tasks within a dynamic team in Lisbon.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting and has 0–2 years of experience in financial operations. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in banking or financial operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational processes in accordance with established procedures and SLAs.
• Carry out risk and compliance controls (checklists and four-eyes checks).
• Analyze, reconcile, and integrate data into systems from multiple sources to ensure information accuracy.
• Execute tasks related to Loan Administration, Collateral Administration, middle office services, depositary/custody functions, and Loan Trade Closing.
• Manage and prioritize operational queries, directing them to the relevant departments.
• Escalate unresolved queries and potential incidents following internal guidelines.
• Extract operational reports and consolidate data to support decision-making and oversight duties.
• Follow up on client instructions, ensuring service standards, quality, and deadlines are met.
• Participate in technical training sessions and support the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Propose and support the implementation of operational process improvements.
• Comply with internal codes of conduct, smart working policies, and mandatory training requirements.

Requirements:
