Job summary

PrimeIT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to design, automate, and maintain scalable platform operations across enterprise environments.

You will apply Terraform, OpenShift, ArgoCD and CI/CD best practices to improve reliability and efficiency, while managing cloud assets (AWS/Azure) and security concepts.

The role is international, with a base salary of 1,750€ to 3,500€ plus flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior level DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong automation and platform reliability skills.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, ArgoCD and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation solutions, self-healing mechanisms, and operational improvements to increase platform efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor and manage platform capacity, performance, and resource utilization, supporting scalability and availability objectives.
• Analyse recurring incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to support platform operations, incident resolution, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer:

Key Skills

• Strong experience in platform operations, automation, and infrastructure management within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift, ArgoCD, and CI/CD practices to support platform reliability and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation development using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or similar tools to reduce manual operational effort.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure), ITIL processes, API security concepts (OAuth/OpenID), and stakeholder management in international environments.
