Job summary

Mimica is seeking a Head of Platform to lead a lean but growing team, own the infrastructure strategy, and scale AI infrastructure for an enterprise-focused platform. You will partner with product, ML, security, and customer success to shape the roadmap and drive reliability across multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineers and managers.
• Hands-on Kubernetes across regions (GKE preferred).
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Track record owning reliability (SLOs, incident response).
• Observability tooling experience.
• Experience designing deployment models for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure strategy and platform roadmap across all products.
• Lead and grow Platform team; manage sub-teams.
• Own AI infra, MLOps tooling, Vertex and model access.
• Maintain DevEx culture; provide paved roads for deployments.
• Own infra and LLM budgets; cost attribution by product.
• Reliability ownership: SLOs, on-call, postmortems, DR tests.
• Oversee CI/CD, IaC and observability standards.
• Define client needs with Platform PM and translate to roadmap.
• Technical owner for infra in enterprise deals and security reviews.
• Guide crafts mentors; set reliability/CI/CD standards.
• Report platform health and costs to leadership; lead infra due diligence.
