Job summary

Hovione in Portugal seeks a Senior Production Operator and Team Lead to oversee the manufacturing area, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to cGMP and HSE standards.

You will lead a team of operators, drive continuous improvement, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure proper documentation and training to meet production schedules.

This role requires strong leadership, deep GMP knowledge, and the ability to train others while maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, or equivalent job experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid knowledge of GMP regulations.
• Experience in training and leading others.
• Experience in fine chemicals or pharmaceutical production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant manufacturing processes in GMP environment.
• Maintain equipment, calibrations, and clean rooms in the TM area.
• Lead and train operators, manage performance and development.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to manage work plans and budgets.
