Job summary

Kosancrisplant - Equipamentos Para Exploração De Gás, S.A. seeks a People Operations Coordinator to manage payroll inputs, HR administration, and development activities for sites in the South of Portugal. The role is based mainly in Sines, with travel to Lisbon and Santarém as needed.

You will ensure consistent HR processes, collaborate with managers and the People & Culture team, and support payroll, contracts, and employee relations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or related field.
• 3+ years in a generalist HR role, ideally in industrial/multi-site setup.
• Hands-on payroll and HR administration experience.
• Solid knowledge of Portuguese labour law, contracts, working time, attendance, overtime and disciplinary processes.
• Strong analytical skills with HR indicators, Excel and HR/payroll systems.
• Proficient in English.
• Based in Sines or Alentejo Litoral area or willing to relocate.
• Willingness to travel regularly across sites (Sines, Lisbon, Santarém).

Responsibilities

• Manage HR administration processes for the assigned sites, including employment contracts, contractual renewals and employee documentation
• Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs, provide payroll support to employees and prepare salary simulations
• Support employee relations and disciplinary processes, coordinating with the HR Business Partner
• Support benefits and career management, competency mapping and performance management processes
• Monitor and report key People & Culture indicators, including headcount and turnover, contributing to monthly indicators review
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain job descriptions and the Job Manual
• Contribute to organisational climate and employee engagement initiatives, maintaining contact with managers and employees across sites
