Laista Group in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a hands-on Payroll & Workforce Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day payroll and workforce administration in Portugal. You will calculate payroll directly and ensure all employee data and compliance are reflected accurately.

You will also oversee onboarding, contracts, absences, working time, A1 certificates and posted-worker processes, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth cross-border operations.

Qualificações

• Strong hands-on Portuguese payroll experience.
• Good understanding of Portuguese payroll rules, Segurança Social and IRS.
• Experience in employee administration, onboarding, contracts, absences and terminations.
• Experience with A1 certificates or posted workers is an advantage.
• Fluency in Portuguese and working English.
• Ability to take ownership and work independently with deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Independently calculate and process Portuguese payroll from inputs to final validation.
• Review working time, absences, allowances, bonuses and other payroll data.
• Prepare payslips, reports and required payroll submissions, including Segurança Social and IRS.
• Manage employee administration across onboarding, contracts, changes and terminations.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, employee records and other required documentation.
• Administer absences, holidays, working time and other employee-related information.
• Prepare, submit and follow up on A1 certificate applications.
• Coordinate required employee and payroll information with relevant internal and external parties.
• Communicate with authorities and external payroll, legal or HR partners when required.
