Job summary

AZADEA Group is seeking a Pastry Commis to support pastry operations across outlets. You will promptly prepare pastry items under close supervision, adhering to quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.

The role involves daily opening and closing procedures, stocking, inventory checks, and distributing baked goods while maintaining HACCP compliance and safe, sanitary work areas. Fluency in English is required, with Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to one year of experience in F&B operations or a similar role.
• Ability to follow recipes and HACCP standards to prepare pastries.

Responsibilities

• Open the pastry department at shift start and ensure par levels, initiating orders as needed.
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and stocking/receiving goods.
• Prepare high-quality pastry items following recipes, HACCP standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Distribute prepared orders to multiple outlets as required.
• Maintain workstation sanitation and clean equipment and utensils after shifts.
• Adhere to security, fire safety, and general safety procedures; report incidents as needed.
• Monitor shelf life and labeling with production/expiry dates; report waste figures.
