We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Almada.

As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Your role will involve overseeing the pastry kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Create new recipes and develop menu items in line with current trends
• Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure quality control by maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
• Train junior staff members on proper techniques and procedures
• Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety precautions
• Ability to create visually appealing desserts with attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent time‑management skills
• Team player with good communication skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 for this position.

Location

This position is located in Almada. However we are open to considering candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate.
