GulfSea Services in Almada is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our renowned bakery team. You will create a variety of pastries and desserts, ensure consistency, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires pastry arts experience, a diploma in Baking/Pastry Arts, and strong time management. English fluency is preferred; Portuguese is a plus. Expect early shifts and collaborative teamwork.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Degree or diploma in Baking/Pastry Arts or relevant field preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pastry ingredients, flavors and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare a wide variety of desserts including cakes, cookies, pastries, and pies.
• Decorate pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing designs.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and place orders when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards in preparation, handling and storage.
• Collaborate with team to develop new recipes or improve existing ones.
• Train new employees on pastry-making techniques as needed.
