Obsidian is seeking a native Odiya speaker to annotate and transcribe complex documents for a data-annotation project. You will reproduce text exactly in Odiya script, bound and categorized by type, with careful attention to reading order and legibility.

This role emphasizes character-level accuracy across handwritten and scanned pages, multi-column layouts, and varied document formats. You will work under review by a second Odiya expert to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualificações

• Native Odiya speaker with full command of script and orthography.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization, or QA is preferred.
• Exactness and attention to diacritics and conjunct forms are critical.
• Systematic application of a consistent taxonomy across pages.
• Comfort with unfamiliar layouts such as multi-column pages and handwritten content.

Responsabilidades

• Open and verify tasks: confirm language (Odiya), legibility, and content suitability.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region with type and reading-order index.
• Record relationships: link regions to corresponding figures or tables.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce all text exactly in Odiya script.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and handwriting flags.
• Review work: undergo second-expert review for accuracy.
