Mercor is seeking a detail-oriented native Odiya speaker to annotate and transcribe complex documents. You will identify and bound meaningful regions, ensure precise reading order, and reproduce all text in Odiya script with careful attention to diacritics.

Ideal candidates have experience with document annotation or QA for training data, and can handle multi-column layouts and handwriting in public PDFs. Remote-friendly project with rigorous review standards.

Qualificações

• Native Odiya speaker with full command of script and orthography.
• Experience with document annotation, transcription, localization, or QA is preferred.
• Attention to character-level accuracy and diacritics.
• Ability to work with multi-column layouts and handwritten content.

Responsabilidades

• Open and verify tasks provided in PDFs.
• Annotate structure: bound each page region and assign component type and reading order.
• Record relationships: link regions to corresponding figures or tables.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce text in Odiya script with exact characters.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, handwriting flags.
• Review a colleague's work: adhere to second-expert review process.
