Claranet in Lisbon seeks a Networks Senior Engineer/Team Leader to lead a multi-cloud networking team, focusing on Azure and GCP, security operations, and robust architecture.

The role combines technical leadership with people management, cloud networking, and automation to deliver resilient, scalable solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading technical teams in networking, cloud infrastructure, or SecOps.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking and good understanding of GCP networking.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, routing and network security.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Network Engineering and SecOps professionals.
• Provide technical direction for Azure, GCP, on-premises, and hybrid network architectures.
• Oversee Azure networking services (VNets, NSGs, Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Guide secure connectivity between on-premises, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, automation, and IAC.
• Support incidents, troubleshooting, network optimisation, and security investigations.
• Establish engineering standards, procedures, documentation, and governance.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Platform, Applications, and Service Management teams.
• Support Kubernetes networking including AKS, ingress, CNI, service mesh, and policies.

We are looking for a Networks Senior Engineer/Team Leader to join our team in Lisbon.

Your responsibilities include:

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to lead a team responsible for designing, securing, and operating complex hybrid and multi-cloud network environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, cloud networking, and security operations, with a focus on delivering resilient, scalable, and secure solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead,
  mentor, and develop a team of Network Engineering and SecOps professionals.
  
• Provide

  with cloud security, incident response, and operational governance.
  
• Good
  understanding of Kubernetes networking, preferably AKS.
  
• Excellent
  communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
