Claranet Limited in Lisbon seeks an experienced Networks Senior Engineer/Team Leader to design, secure, and operate complex hybrid and multi-cloud networks with a focus on Azure and GCP. You will lead a team responsible for routing, security, and resilient connectivity across on-premises and cloud environments.

The role combines technical leadership, people management, cloud networking, and security operations, delivering scalable, secure solutions and driving Zero Trust adoption.

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading technical teams in networking, cloud infrastructure, or SecOps.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking and good understanding of GCP networking.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, routing and network security.
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform and/or Bicep, ARM, PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Experience with cloud security, incident response and operational governance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Network Engineering and SecOps professionals.
• Provide technical direction for Azure, GCP, on-premises, and hybrid network architectures.
• Oversee Azure networking services (VNets, NSGs, Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints).
• Guide secure connectivity between on-premises, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Drive the adoption of Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support complex incidents, troubleshooting, network optimization and security investigations.
• Establish engineering standards, operational procedures, documentation, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Platform, Applications and Service Management teams.
• Support Kubernetes networking including AKS, ingress, CNI, service mesh and network policies.
