Inetum is seeking a Network & Telecommunications Technician to join an operational team providing 2nd line technical support within an Inetum project environment in Lisbon. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving network incidents while delivering high-quality support.

The ideal candidate has CCNA certification, a technical education in Networks/ICT, and experience with IP networking, routing, switching and wireless technologies.

Qualificações

• CCNA certification is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 2nd line network and telecommunications support.
• Manage and follow up tickets in line with SLAs.
• Investigate and diagnose network incidents.
• Communicate with users and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Develop understanding of supported network environments.
• Collaborate with specialist teams on complex incidents.
• Contribute to service monitoring and improvement activities.
• Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the process.

We are looking for a Network & Telecommunications Technician to join an operational team providing 2nd line technical support within an Inetum project environment. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving network-related incidents while delivering a high-quality support experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line technical support for network and telecommunications services.
• Manage and follow up support tickets in line with agreed service levels.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents affecting network infrastructure.
• Communicate directly with users and stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Develop a solid understanding of supported network environments.
• Collaborate with specialist teams to resolve complex incidents.
• Contribute to service monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the support process.
• Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Technical education in Networks, Telecommunications or Information Technology.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching and Wireless technologies.
• Experience supporting Cisco, Huawei or with other networkingsolutions.
• Knowledge of IP networking and telecommunications environments.
• Experience in a 2nd line technical support role.
• Ability to analyse, diagnose and resolve network incidents.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within technical teams.
