Capgemini Engineering Portugal is seeking a 2nd Line Network Technician to ensure stability, performance and continuity of enterprise networks. You will provide advanced support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and act as a trusted client contact.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Huawei equipment, routing, switching and wireless technologies, and CCNA certification. Hybrid work options and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or enterprise network support with hands-on Cisco/Huawei equipment.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies for 2nd line support.
• Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent) required, demonstrating networking fundamentals.
• Strong communication with a client-oriented mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

YOUR ROLE

As a 2nd Line Network Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance and continuity of enterprise network environments.

• Providing advanced 2nd line technical support to clients, managing and following up on incident tickets through to resolution.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex network incidents through structured troubleshooting across routing, switching and wireless environments.
• Acting as a direct point of contact for clients, analysing technical issues and delivering clear and effective solutions.
• Collaborating with internal 3rd line teams and other specialised areas to elevate and resolve complex network challenges.
• Monitoring and maintaining a thorough understanding of client network environments to ensure proactive issue identification and resolution.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications or enterprise network support, with hands‑on expertise in Cisco and/or Huawei equipment.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching and wireless technologies, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve network incidents in 2nd line support contexts.
• Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent) is required, demonstrating a formal and validated technical foundation in networking.
• Strong communication skills and a client-oriented mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive and results‑driven approach, with a genuine desire to learn, grow and take ownership of technical challenges.
