Job summary

Accenture Digital Core in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an experienced Scrum Master to coordinate Agile delivery for a mobile team. You will coach the team in Scrum, facilitate events, and protect delivery commitments while collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in scaled Agile environments, and professional English is mandatory. The role offers a hybrid work model with comprehensive health and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, or a comparable field.
• Solid professional experience as a Scrum Master, Agile team facilitator, or in a similar Agile delivery role.
• Experience coordinating distributed or multi-location teams.
• Experience working in scaled, multi-team, or complex Agile delivery environments.
• Professional English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach the team in Agile values, Scrum principles, and effective ways of working to promote autonomy and accountability.
• Facilitate Scrum events and backlog refinement to improve delivery.
• Support realistic Sprint planning with visibility into capacity, dependencies, and commitments.
• Maintain clear Sprint Goals and manage changes without losing focus on priorities.
• Identify and help remove impediments and cross-team blockers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and strengthen partnership with the Product Owner.
• Promote collaboration across developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
• Protect the team from interruptions and scope changes while ensuring stakeholder involvement.
• Onboard and integrate new team members, promoting knowledge sharing.
• Use Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, lead time) to improve transparency and delivery.
