Job summary

Yazaki’s plant in Ovar, Portugal seeks a Quality Complaint Specialist to address customer concerns, develop action plans, and manage 8D reporting aligned with Yazaki requirements. You will coordinate with production, monitor corrective actions, and ensure accurate, timely communications to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Technical education.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of IATF16964 and related Core tools.
• Knowledge of VDA quality system.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer concerns and address to the production affiliate.
• Establish action plan and follow up.
• Report 3D & 8D to the customer.
• Coordinate and instruct sorting activities with cost follow up.
• Monitor claims in GQRS and ensure timely reporting.
• Oversee problem solving to ensure effective 8D reports with preventive actions.
• Investigate failed parts and corrective actions.
• Ensure customer claim and PPM information is reported accurately and on time.
• Work to meet Yazaki quality targets and reduce customer claims/PPM.
• Coordinate to ensure priority and resources are applied.
• Review customer scorecards and quality status; escalate major issues as needed.
• Provide information to other Yazaki Operations Quality Divisions upon request.
